Clear powdercoat would be your best bet IMO.

find someone that cerakotes,it's usually found in a firearm/exhaust application.its a high heat coating all day long.and yes they have it in clear also

I agree but powdercoating is a better option than the nautical version

I've done cerakoating in the past on a few firearms. I would do it again but I don't have the old electric oven anymore. It is tough stuff
