I decided against the 442 stripe kit and just did a simple pinstripe between the blue and charcoal. I carpeted my trunk and built a downfire sub box for 2 10" pioneer premier subs and got my stereo all hooked up. Since i got the pics taken its rained everyday , im ready to take it out.
Also On facebook I found a guy making the flat hurst old header panel badges out of aluminum and epoxy and messaged him about making one that just says cutlass, i sent him the money so hopefully it looks good. Pics and a review when i get it.

My custom header badge is in !!!!, it took a bit longer supposed to but it looks good and seems well made. The guy said he can engrave whatever you want at the bottom if you dont want hurst olds and you can do different colors if you you want. It attaches with 2 sided tape that he had on it already
I got got my blazer brake spindles earlier this month from a member here. For christmas i got everything else to assemble them. I ordered.my 5660 front springs today and will be ordering my 3.42 posi/gear kit from quick performance for my other 7.5 soon. Spring is going to be very busy
How.much has everyone cut off the 5660 springs for a 1" drop or should i just put them in first. Would like to do it while changing the spindles and brakes.

Your car looks great, quite a transformation! Like the wheel and tire package you chose too. 👍
I installed the blazer brakes and new coil springs today. Wound up using the original brake hose frame bracket. Instead of the blazer frame bracket, due to it looking like it was going to rub the tire. I had plenty of clearance at the tie rod and calipers.
On the 5660 springs i i put new isolators on top and cut a 1/2 coil off. When measuring to trim , a 1/2 coil only went from 13.25 to 13 in height so it didnt change much. It wasnt stiff like i thought it would be and it rode and stopped much better. I didnt drive much until i can get an alignment later this week.
