What technique did you use?

Have not mastered that technique!

Caught mine on spinning tackle. But the streams up there are clear mountain streams. Lots of guys fly fish. Hatches go of throughout the day. When I was younger I used fly rods, then drifted away from fishing. Now my boy has taken an interest so I dug out all my gear.

I feel like I'm learning all over. In my mind I know, but it hasn't come back in practice yet. Still enjoyable time outdoors.

First trip this year and I broke the ice! I caught the low tide change at sunset. Two Bluefish, one beached and the other got off in the wash. No pics as I dislike touching the camera with sandy-fishy-bloody hands.
