The boy and I are camping in northern PA for the first day of trout tommorow. Pretty cold today, tonight, and tommorow. But that's what the camper is for. Supposed to drop to the low 20's tonight. Hope my water lines don't freeze.

If that's a 4 season camper you should be fine. We had ours out recently down in the 20s and it was fine.
It's not. But it's only going to stay that cold overnight. It will make it to low 40's next day. I don't think it will be cold enough long enough to freeze.
I'm just glad to be camping!

The snow is just about gone here in Saskatchewan, another month till open water season Fishing here. My Wife is getting the itch to go fishing at Thunder Rapids. I will have to see pictures of her catching another 30 pound Pike and probably tons of other big Pike and Walleye while I work 12 hour days. Camping is still going to be tough here. With limited vaccines here, not supposed to be any number till mid Summer in Canada, it makes any booked cabins or even sites, very questionable. A Camper means a new truck. Even finding a truck back for a Dakota or tent trailer would be tough. Glad you guys are getting out and enjoying Nature. Hope you catch some nice Rainbows! Now that we have a new boat, we need to get up to Lake Defenbaker for Rainbow and many other trophy species. I need to follow the Conrad Twins. They caught the World Record Rainbow there, other 40 pounds and guided other guys to multiple World Line Class Records for Rainbow. One also caught the World Record Burbot at over 25 pounds there. There is also big Pike and Walleye along with the occasional Lake Sturgeon, along with nearly every species in Saskatchewan in that massive and deep reservoir. It is the biggest lake in Southern Saskatchewan, the merging of the South Saskatchewan and Qu'appelle River systems. We have fishing here second to none in the World. Come on Spring!
I'm damn glad I got my camper before the covids because demand and pricing has absolutely skyrocketed!
Weather turned out nice today! Caught four rainbows. I usually catch and release. The boy wanted to try trout. We kept them. Cooked over an open fire with butter and lemon pepper seasoning. We are hooked. Was fantastic.
Enjoyed the time away outdoors in beautiful country.
