Hello everyone, I figured out why I had no working heat in my car. The temperature slider switch cable was detached from the arm for the heater vent:
Is there an easy way to remove this arm so that I can drill it out and use a bolt through the cable? I plan on using this thread for whichever other heater issues come up. I still don't know if the vacuum water valve is working, but I am starting one place at a time and just glad I have heat for now.
