Front adj coil overs and ride height questions

Coil over ratings and coil spring rating are not comparing apples to apples (not when using the bolt in conversion style). A 700 lb coil over would jack the car up about 3". Keep this in mind.

DRAG RACERS TYPICALLY DO WELL IN THE 250# (with proper geometry)

G MACHINES TYPICALLY DO WELL IN THE 450# RANGE (with proper geometry)

BIG RIM GUYS TYPICALLY USE A 550# (with proper geometry)

COIL OVER SPRING RATE FRONT END WEIGHT

200 600-800

250 800-1000

300 1100-1200

400 1500-1800

450 1800-2000

500 2000-2300

550 2300-2500

I removed the 400lb/inch springs and installed 700lb/inch on my 87 monte with 350...air conditioning pump etc.... excellent stance

I'm running 750lb springs in mine and it rides better than the cut aftermarket lowering springs that were in it.

I have not seen and/or missed if anyone mentioned getting it all together and rolling it forward/back to settle everything in. I did see that the CA's have not yet been torqued down. Continue with the install, and check, double check as you go. If they are the correct parts, it should be fine.

Bouncing doesn't allow the front tires to spread out to achieve the static camber settings. You need to roll the car so the suspension can relax
I'll take your word for it, but it doesn't seem possible unless the toe is really whacked.

I have to roll every time I change camber or toe to verify the settings. This is with heim joints and it still needs to be rolled.
