Front end removal necessary for frame off?

Really.. There's no need to support the radiator support. The front clip feels solid, doesnt budge at all. The panels gaps havent changed at all either

I thought the intention was to leave the front clip on the frame while the rest of the body was lifted...in my case I couldn't get the body high enough so I had to remove the front clip so I could roll the frame out with the drive train left in place.

I don't think you can pull the body with the front clip on the frame. The way it's shaped plus the way that it's supported. It only had the core support bushings connecting it to the frame. So it would naturally try to tilt back. The body would have to go back, then up to clear the clip. Plus the rear of the front fenders would have to be supported.

While it's up in the air, sand and paint the radiator support, the parts you can't get to when it's on the frame. Avoid bumping it while it's up there, since nothing holds it back from twisting.
