I have my daily driver in my portable garage and went to leave this morning for work and I backed up not even an inch and my front driver's side tire instantly blows out, I figure I somehow just hit something and I will change the tire and just be late to work.
Well I try backing it out and the car won't move and finally I get it going and it is dragging the tire so now I know something broke, I jack it up and the tire is shredded on the inside but spins now that it is up in the air, I don't see anything at first but then I see the strut spring which apparently broke and stabbed my tire.
I don't think a can of Fix-A-Flat is going to help my tire. LOL

what a way to start a Monday morning, I feel bad for you..
For me it still beats having a car payment, the thing that bothers me the most is this was a new Michelin snow tire.
Also I just picked up a loaded strut and sway bar link so hopefully there are no issues with the R & R.

I used to see it all the time on Fird Taurus' when I managed the dealership. Still sucks big time especially on a Monday morning

Hmm, that gives me an idea of a theft deterrent device.

What a way to start a Monday morning! I hope that when you get home at the end of the day, you can sit down and enjoy a decent beverage and dinner👍
