I did paint my rusty steelies on mine. Don't think that counts as a mod. But it's probably the slowest vehicle I've ever owned. If it were better on fuel I wouldn't mind as much.

Oh I did a buddy’s Escort with Walmart spay bomb paint strips. He went to lunch came back to a “race type like car”.
