I am looking to see if anyone has specific details on the length of the factory 16awg fusible links located at starter junction. For a v6 car

You dont have the originals ?
Unfortunately I do not. Just the two 12awg wires coming out of bulkhead connector and 12awg @ C497. I have new fusible link wire but I have read the specific length is highly important

When I remade mine I read up on it and it said they have to be as close to original as possible. Maybe someone has a spare harness kicking around to give you the lengths. No way I can crawl under either one of my cars to take the measurements. Too much in the way do even get a jack under them.

I figured this was going to be a hard one to get answered. Also wondering if I am changing the junction point and not reconnecting at starter…would that change specifications for link?

This is for a V8 442, but it's probably the same.

Caspers’ Electronics should have what you’re looking for

I’d contact John or Justin Spina & see which one they’d recommend

Or maybe this one ?

6” is long enough and damn near the original length. You can buy fusible link wire at Napa and make you’re own for $20-25.

Personally, I’ve done away fusible links on everything and run a fuse. And yes, I know the cons of a fuse vs. a fusible link. But the plus side is a dead short is still a dead short - it will blow a fuse, trust me.

Well I put a call into Caspers, have used them before for some stuff. They said it might work but being they dont know vehicle and wire lengths they could not say for sure. I get it as they dont want to be accountable for 🔥 lol. Nice guys though.
