Future of G-Body of the Month

I think it's a nice bonus feature for the site but, honestly, I don't pay a bunch of attention to it. One reason is that I just don't know the rules. My understanding is that you enter yourself as things are now. It might be interesting for a month or two if the entries were only nominated by others.

Rules change on a constant basis. The idea is cool, neat little competition. I post wh*re my SS out enough and many people know it lol, I've had quite a few message me about some of the stuff I've built on it and I have helped many, so that is what makes me happy.

I hope my suggestion doesn't throw more poop on the spinning clutch fan blades. I like the idea of U.S vs Canada vs. members in other countries. Perhaps in the months preceding July 2018 we could have a 1) Best of USA, 2) Best of Canada, 3) Best of the rest of the World. Then in July, we could vote for one of the 3 tri finalists. One problem for the final showdown is there is a greater number of US members which skews the vote.
Any ideas other than to go stuff it.

from an "upkeep" POV maybe dictate a theme of the month a year in advance so you don't have to keep coming up with fresh ideas ?

Say Beach Theme or something warm for January ( for all us guys who get snow its a nice change ),
Or 4 months of the year to represent each of the seasons shown in the background ?
Maybe Red Cars for Feb, Modded for March
Patriot Theme for July ( this would cover the whole world with a flag of your home country in the background or on the car )
Armed forces in November ( same flag or Military Theme to cover the whole world in remembrance ).

Then maybe take the top 3 vehicles chosen and put them in rotation for the month ?

Yeah I know, its kind of a compromise but I would not want to come up with a fresh idea every month.

Maybe once a year you could have a lurkers month for those that don't feel like commenting on everything, but have been here for a while.
