How did you make out on your down bars?? I've never had cage go in as instructed - always had to change or modify to my liking.

Best I got. I want it to tie in towards the corner and not on the side of it by the door. My opinion is that the down bars should go to the roll bar and then a roof bar added up front to make the halo. I may just rock it this way till I upgrade in a few years to a CM cage. It doesn't block my view much more than the pillar, and I got a lot more hand room. The pic from the driver seat is deceiving.

About got the cage done. Got the chassis painted and bolted to the body and most of the welding done. Gonna start on securing the rear quarter some time this week. I'm on call for work so not sure how much I'll get done... picking up tires and rims Friday so I can get my axle measured and get it fabed up. Thinking 33x16r15

Amazing work so far. That's commitment!

You consider doing someone on the Forum a huge favor and sharing those rear frame rails when you are done, if there is anything left to share.

The rear frame section is still complete. Just the way I cut it off, right after the body mounts. I even got tires on it so I can move it around in the garage lol. I welded a bar across the rails to keep it square before I removed the bumper. The rails are good other then some of the body mount holes. I'm in Columbus Ohio, and would consider selling all of it.

That sounds like a 'For Sale' post! When you have five minutes, you can make back some of your costs...
