Just as the title says what r u guys using for a cold air intake? My intake is TB SS with 92mm throttle body....
This is the exact route I took as well.I bought some 4-in black matte cold air intake tubing and made my own with a K&N cone filter. Could have been cheaper, but problem free so far. View attachment 240447 View attachment 240449 View attachment 240450 View attachment 240451 View attachment 240452
Where's the MAF sensor?Made my own with a K&N filter, some aluminum tubing, and a silicone elbow. View attachment 240437
Not running one. No reason to. I'm using Holley TerminatorWhere's the MAF sensor?
Interesting. So I had to do a few googles and seems like your fueling system is based on "speed-density" instead of "mass airflow". Your MAP and IAT are used to determine place on the fueling map. I learned something today. I recall needing to put the MAF in a "well developed" flow field (e.g. away from elbows), and I was puzzled when I didn't see a MAF in your setup. Bravo for your ability to TIG aluminum tubing. Not running one. No reason to. I'm using Holley Terminator
Where's your air filter on this rig? Is it below the plastic fender well? I'm having a hard time keeping my intake air cool so I was thinking of making some kind of air scoop to get some cooler air to the filter that sits above the inner fender well like dood's is shown above.Made my own with a K&N filter, some aluminum tubing, and a silicone elbow. Yes, I drilled thru the inner fender and the filter is in front of the left front tire and behind the bumper.Where's your air filter on this rig? Is it below the plastic fender well? That's an awesome idea! Never thought of that but I'm going to give it a try. I know I have some extra tubing and silicone connectors. True cold air intake. Thanks!!!Yes, I drilled thru the inner fender and the filter is in front of the left front tire and behind the bumper.
