Hey guys its been a while since ive posted. Ive got a problem with the ss that keeps getting worse! It started off as a little bump-steering and has gotton dangerious! After a spirited blast down the hway yesterday somethings got to give! A little background on the ss. 5.3 t56 aftermarket upper arms in front and a body rear with southside machine arms in back. Now its gotten so bad when the cruze lets off the gas it wants to take off. I caint see anything moving in the front end after getting under it several times. I have all new moog front end parts. Maybe i have a crack somewhere? Ikn where to look. Any suggestions? Im at my witts end.
Thanks
John

Check for a broken rear LCA mount at the frame.

If you feel anything in the steering when you let off and/or get on the gas, it is most likely in 1 or more of the 8 rear suspension mounting points.

And yes, it will feel like bump steer, because the steering changes with obvious front end rise/fall.

This is REALLY exaggerated on IRS cars.

Thats why i ask yall!! Might as well go to the experts!! Drivers side lower rear. Weld across the top of the bracket is broken and the brace is cracked all the way through!! Ill get a pic and post it for everybody else thats got gremlins!
Thanks
John

That explains why it got progressively worse.

It's not a popular opinion around here, but thats one of the reasons I am not a fan of A body or fox body 8.8 rears in G bodies. Sure, it was the late 70's in detroit and cocaine was a hell of a drug, but there is a reason the suspension geometry is the way it is.

Now it drives like a whole different car!! I think next im going with a 9in with weld on brackets. Idk if the 8.2 will hold up to a built 5.7 turbo motor ive been planning!
Thanks again
John
