Is that the motor's hp rating or the power at the rear wheel?

That would be the motors hp. I figure if the motor is putting at least 650 at the flywheel he should be very close to if not over 600 at the wheels. And the motor has enoguh strength and cushion the if he wanted to run spray he could. Which he not planning on as of now.

What is funny is when we are the old guys the younger guys who are building 90s cars will say we give them no respect. LOL

Idk about that. The 90's cars have absolutely no value and were plastic pieces of junk. The g bodies were really the last v8 cars. Other than that, 90's cars were expendable and just cheap built cars to sell.

There were some good 90's cars as far as modification goes, but they were mostly Japanese and not American. The 240sx, Civic, Sentra, Supra, etc. all have a lot of potential and are cheap to buy. They may not be drag cars, but they are good at the other aspects of vehicle performance. Now, the cars other than that were pretty much all useless (Camaro, Firebird and Mustang excluded) soul crushing transportation appliances. Pretty much any standard car made since 2000 DEFINITELY fits that description too. Camry, Corolla, Taurus, Lumina, Accord, Intrepid, etc. are all bland appliances that do nothing but reliably provide transportation. To some people that is all they need. Unfortunately, that does not leave anything for those who like to play with old cars later down the road. In that way, the G body was the last of the breed: a family car that could become something more.

93-02 Camaro, Trans Am, and all the different models were the last of the Muscle cars. I just do not even begin to understand where you come from saying they are expendable. Even the 93-97 Camaro's (which i am partial to) They still had a lot of muscle to them and not exactly Expendable. Just do not really follow what you are trying to say here

I thought most people would understand which cars I'm talking about. Of course I'm not talking about the camaros, mustangs, etc. I'm referring to the junk cars that had really no value, were built poorly, and as 85 said, were meant solely as a source of reliable transportation. I'm in the process of helping my buddy mike rebuild his 93' camaro z28, so i'm partial to them myself. I'm just not partial to the vast majority of 90's american model cars cause they were just junk most of the time.
