I thought most people would understand which cars I'm talking about. Of course I'm not talking about the camaros, mustangs, etc. I'm referring to the junk cars that had really no value, were built poorly, and as 85 said, were meant solely as a source of reliable transportation. I'm in the process of helping my buddy mike rebuild his 93' camaro z28, so i'm partial to them myself. I'm just not partial to the vast majority of 90's american model cars cause they were just junk most of the time.

Alright 🙂 Just making sure ha I loved my 94' and am still trying to find another one.

Don't forget about B-bodies...

you're speakin my language blake...nice 9c1 btw...(just sold mine a month ago to fund the regal project)

85 did put the camaros, mustangs and firebirds in he exemption category...btw

I used to have a 85 Z28. Blew the 305HO and put in a 400/ 450hp at the wheels 🙂 That was one fun *ss car!

I think after 2000, only Ford got it right for the most part (the GTO missed the mark in my opinion). In 2003 I bought a new Ford Lightning, I couldn't stand to drive a normal car as my daily driver (and the 442 doesn't see rain or too many parking lots).

It was my first Ford, and I got to say, well worth it. 80,000 miles and counting, and I only had to replace one sensor in the Lightning's lifetime (and that sensor was covered by warranty). While I'm a hardcore GM fan, I can argue with this trucks reliability. I even pushed the payload past the max on several occasions (had a forklift load two pallets of tile into it) and it drove and braked like nothing was it it.

With mild tweaking of the stock computer, a smaller supercharger pulley, and recalibrated transmission, it ran high 12's in the 1/4 mi.

one day our cars will be classics... technically they are antiques now.

Yeah I know, I already have antique plates on my bu. They're lifetime plates and the car doesn't need to be registered ever again until 2099.

are those expensive to get? insurence is probably pretty low too...
