check the junk yards- 80's F body and B body have the stay down plate holders and bolt right in.

While the shape of the door maybe different I believe the mechanism is the same on the A/G wagons and possibly the C/K series trucks.
On my 86 El Camino many years back I scavenged the mounting ears from a wagon gas door to do a "Frankenstein" save on mine.
Not sure if this helps.

Anybody hate the way the El Camino fuel fill door opens from the bottom???

Was looking to do that as well. Or use a Challenger pop top type. I’m not getting any younger either.
