Gates heat shrink hose clamps

I have never seen that product before, thanks for posting that and I am going to try them out as long as they are sold in this 3rd world country
I'm running them,no issues.buy the removal tool from gates it's worth it.gotta make sure you can get the heat gun around all sides of the hose.
I've considered using them on the Cutlass. The only issue I see is they're a one time use. If you have to undo the hoses, then ya gotta put new ones on unlike normal hose clamps. Pretty trick and clean looking though!
oh i agree.yet i can't even picture regular clamps on my motor now 🙂 i do carry a full set of standard hose clamps in my road side bag😉they'd look pretty sweet on your cutlass though.
Haha, they might! I will cross that bridge when it comes as I will unlikely be running regular rubber hoses. After using and loving the stainless lines on the 355, I have to do something similar or even more trick 👍!!!
My buddy has them on his pro touring 69 Camaro no problems he loves the nice clean look
Funny thing is they've been used in the heavy truck industry for years I started to see them in 05/06 on International school buses with the vt365 (6.0L) and the Maxxforce 7 (6.7L)
They are nice sometimes hard to cut off without cutting threw the radiator hose
