Were going to try something a little different for this month. The topic for this month will be engine bay pictures only. (Topic selected by May's winner)

Pictures will/should be judged on the content of what is in the engine bay and how nice it looks regardless of how the rest of the car looks.

Please don't post pictures of the rest of your car, you dont even have to tell us the make/model/year, just tell us whats under the hood 8)

Nothing to great looking here, but this has pretty much been the first topic I've been able to post, so here it goes lol

-worked over L82 2.02 heads
-274 Energizer cam
-MSD StreetFire HEI and wires
-unknown aluminum intake
-Edelbrock 600cfm carb (temporary)
-shorty headers
-made about 430 HP on dyno with 750 Demon, and unknown ignition and exhaust

Now I know it's no show car engine bay. But the goal here is for it to be a sleeper.So some dirt and grime are just what I want. When people ask what's in it, I'm gonna say it's a HO 305 from an 80s Monte SS. If they ask about the lumpy idle, I'll try to say that it has a fouled plug or something. Now the fun part... When they ask what's done to it I'm gonna use this line, " Well it was already a HO 305 to begin with, then I added an RV cam, aluminum intake from ebay, headers, chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, flex fan, fuel filter, red HEI cap, and MSD wires." (also for now I can point out the Edelbrock carb, but a Quadrajet will be going on soon, then it's even easier to pass off as a sleeper). Pointing out items that make no power increase should help to make me look more like an idiot lol. Future plans: get some more of those cheap parts store chrome engine bay accessories. Either get the A/C hooked back up, or swap to a non-A/C box. Stock type fan or electric. I'm not going for the 'stock' sleeper, more for the 'stupid guy who put a few minor things on a stock 305 and now thinks it's a race car' kind of sleeper.
