If you mean absolutely bone factory stock, where's the cut off? Original tires? I mean I'm not campaigning for mine and and have never entered one of these things, but when you say stock you're asking a lot. Mine and others appear bone stock but have engine mods, etc... If you raise thew hood on my car it looks perfectly stock, inside and out look stock except for the exhaust tips, which by the way aren't factory, along with the rest of the exhaust system. It's gonna be hard to find a garage kept 10k mile G with original muffler, etc...

those ignition wires! YOU CHEATER!
... really tho, I'm just kidding

I think we're slightly loose on the "Stock" idea. I think tires?, tune up and regular maintenance stuff (ignition, air filters, light bulbs)?, if your engine has been overhauled back to stock form?, hubcaps? etc...

I could see these things not being an issue... I don't think we're going for Concourse level judgment here

I guess they're looking for things like, stock "spec" driveline, interior, all factory options still intact (and working?), no chassis or body modifications, etc...

... correct me if I'm wrong?

some mods are okay, but if a non auto enthusiast can tell that what ever you have done does not belong on the car then no. :bump:

Here's a few of my '87 Camino. I've owned it since '93. Sometimes it's been a daily ride, but most years it's been a garage queen, getting only a few thousand miles per year. The paint has been untouched in the 19 years I've had it, just massaged regularly with Meguiar's and other similar products. Mechanicals are stock, with suspension and steering upgrades. It will reside in my driveway or garage until my kids liquidate my estate.
