Ccongratulations. Beautiful car!

Congratulations Idr, I'm sure that that must be the second nicest looking Malibu on the planet? I may be bias just a little bit. OK I like your color & paint more than mine! Now consider getting rid of those big boat anchor bumpers or tuck them. I just love Gold, Bronze & silver automobiles. Enjoy your day in the sun, Ole' Bob.

I would like to narrow the bumpers and get rid of the plastic fillers you can't get paint to stick to.

Hi Idr, Bob again; Your car is gorgeous! Consider narrowing the rear bumper, as weight is Not your enemy back their. And the steel protection is GOOD. And on the front do fiberglass narrowed bumper or the fiberglass cover that I did. As weight IS your enemy up front. Plus I think a power coat of chrome paint work out for some time. Or the chrome wrap over the fiberglass is another idea. But if you do remove the front bumper consider some tie bar in steel or Aluminum to gain a little protection. I used 1/4"w x 3" x 4" aluminum angle + foam & still had a big weight reduction. Just a couple of ideas for the future as these cars are never done as you all know, Ole' Bob.
