Hi Sebastien',
So depending on what region of the country you live determines what language you learn first. I guess Alsace is closer to the German border? My father was fluent in German probably because he lived close to the German border in Poland.

Hi Jack,

Alsace is probably the only region in France where the first foreign language learned at school is German.
Yes alsace is just next to Germany, the river "Rhin" is between the two countries.
Alsace lot of things are different than in other regions of France (holidays, insurance disease, etc...)

Hallo sebastien

I was once at Burger King Offenburg, there was a meeting of American cars of the parking, it is once a month.
In France we do not have Burger King.

Effectively i have a display in celsius, but I do not know why. I do not know all the history of my wagon.

Good Night.

tomorrow i will drive to the netherlands
and will buy some parts.

found some old pics

my last malibu (12 years ago)
img_0067uykpr.jpg

my first one
it was 1991 - this car was 12 years old, over ten owner before,
six paints on it and tons of rust.it was horrible but i have loved it.
pic was before painting (blue/green-türkis)
img_0041rvjcf.jpg

but i was young and i want to grow bigger
and so i did
img_00543ijdw.jpg

but this car was too big for german streets(and parking boxes
and german gas prices)
so i have thought smaller is better
img_00614oja9.jpg

after driving this car,i can imagine why amc have died... :blam:
for 4 years or so i bring myself a little present from switzerland.
bild0080llkz1.jpg

this one was killed vor engine and transmission
img_0093iaeje.jpg

but so it was in the 90´s,if somebody need tech,a malibu or
a camaro have to die.

I always thought the Monza Spyders were kinda cool. What is that..76-77? Nice.

it was a nice car.
it had a mid70s 350 and was really quick.
but if you want to change spark plugs
you have to remove engine or steering :puke:
the guy who have it now, drive 12 seconds with
original outfit

...so,a little time is running away and after changing the second transmission it runs.
mission complete,what to do?
yes make a trip to the netherlands and buy another one :blam:
dsc_1404ywcqo.jpg

it cames from the switzerland, was build there and thats good, because
they have posi, havy duty springs and cooling and most good conditions, cause the switzerland
technical inspection is very restrictiv.
it also have a lpg system (gasprice 0,69€ per liter)
unfortunaly he had the f+++ th 200 ,it has brown interiour :puke: and in real he look not so good as on the pic.
but it is first paint with patina and i like it more than repaint.
so i have to change the interiour between the both and the first one will go again.

Andreas.
Looks like a nice clean '79 Malibu. That's the first set of European '78-'79 signal lights that I've ever seen.
It looks as though the Swiss export wagons had the European taillights, signal lights, etc.
Sebastien 305 from France has an '83 Malibu wagon originally from Switzerland.

Could you post more pictures of the wagon.. The rear, interior, etc.?

the turn signals in front are original from a trailer and was on every malibu in switzerland,
cause they have not allowed the original one.
unfortunaly he have no euro taillights,if it had, they will be on the way to you.
the malibu official was sold in germany by opel, but most of them have red lights.
the parting car from nl had euros but by parting out ,they go to dust :|
after changing shocks it drive like a car and for the good will ,it becames new shoes.

funny exhaust
