guten morgen,
it is nice, that you learn german,i hope it is not the sequel of my horrible english.
yes ,i have replaced the clock with a tach and i make the wire at the same way, like the donor car.
i will check the connections but it is not really important to survive
next step is to replace the distributor, the old one works, but i have a new one and so
i will change it.
i have replaced the windowlifterengine (what a :puke: work) so it is a little bit more
comfortabel to drive.
step by step

...pimp my bumper

the rubber was so rotten, fixed with screws, so i replaced it with a 3M product.
i do´t know how long it will work, but now it looks good.

That looks good, man. I guess it covers all the bumper bolt heads? It certainly looks a lot better than a beat up rubber strip.

Is that a reflector at the end of the quarter panel? It's pretty bright.

yes,i like it and it was really cheap.
i like the bumper without rubbers, but they are really rare here.
the reflector is a swiss gimmick,i will erase it next time.
at saturday i will drive to a carmeeting at the eastsea,500 km from here.
i hope "malibu stacy" will run

If you could take some pictures of the meet, that would be cool.

Did you add the Mt. Kilauea decal to the car? Yeah, the Swiss were very big on putting lights and reflectors everywhere. I guess they're very safety oriented over there.

...trip was good, just little problems on the way home
she runs good on propane and than i thought,i should look
what she does ,if she drink fuel.
mistake !!!
the fuel floated out of the carb.
i think ,the reason could be this:

electric pump without pressure regulator - no good idea from the pre-owner.

...don#t know, what this guy smoke, but it must be good.
he wants 7.500€ for his station

Guten tag,
Wow!! I never saw a crushed float like that before. I'm guessing that the carburetor was converted to run on propane, and would probably have to be converted back for gasoline, if that's what you choose.
Is it cheaper to run propane over there, of gasoline.

Thanks for the pics. :)

hoi,
i don´t know how much presuure the pump have to work, but i think
it was a little to much.
i have bought a universal pressure regulator from 0 - 140 psi,
i hope it will work.
but first the new floats must arrive to me.
at 99% i drive with propane but i like it to have a choice.
popane 0,81 c/L
gasoline 2,14 $/L
unfortunally the propane tank have just place for 44 litres inside,
so you have many fuel stops
