Thanks! We're leaning into this property to make the most of our time here. Natasha is going nuts with her garden and I just pruned half a tree at the front of the house. Now it doesn't look like a bush on a stick.
I must say... some of my neighbours have some serious equipment. Either this is their hobby or I am missing something really important. But, judging by the work they are doing it is deliberate... and the exact same work they did last year. Guess I should go introduce myself and find out, eh?

This is what I mean. It looked like this when we moved in, it grew over this Spring, and now he's back out there redoing it.

Speaking of farming. The girls have been clamouring for a fire pit. So I recruited Tatiana and we got to consolidating the larger rocks on the property so we can start into that project.
And in other news... Tatiana did it again last night: Another inside the park home run! Pardon my shoddy camera work but I was stuck in coach/Dad/fan mode and really concerned about living in the moment rather than recording it. And yes, she gets being a ham from me.
This was a great follow-up her single and double on Tuesday night. She also had three impressive defensive plays at third base last night and got player of the game - just like her little sister (who I finally got to watch a little of). It was a great night all around for the girls and they are really starting to appreciate the game.
