Getting the F' Outta Dodge.

Did you wash down that horse-sized jagged bitter pill with a tall glass of warm Haterade?

I have people skills!

I didn't coin the term, but I do use it frequently.

Last I checked, there was a 35 year old cutoff to cross over from enlisted to the dark side in the Air Force. Not sure if that spans all the forces. If not, it's probably not far off. Not sure about programs for folks who are already officers, of there is one I'd expect it to have more leeway.
possibly. my brother got into the USAF with a waiver as an officer at 37-38 due to his nursing background, has about 15 yrs now. without knowing what the guidelines are, I remember a story years ago of a guy who into bootcamp at almost 40. they were able to count his 4 yr enlistment right out of high school back from his current age and he was then under the upper age limit. so it could happen? 🤷‍♂️

FWIW, I am 43 and O-5 qualified. I wouldn't be a DE boot.

Can you imagine that much old age and treachery in boot camp? You'd have them answering to you.
