Getting the F' Outta Dodge.

Winter just wont f*ck off.

Last week it was Manitoba getting slammed, today it is Alberta and by association here. I am watching the snow blow in horizontally. The weather is so far below the historical average it isn't even funny:

Seems the only thing that isn't rapidly inflating these days is the temperature. The farmers have to be a bit cheesed.

I've heard were -6F colder on average this April. Brr!

Wee,,,ell, Tomorrow here will be Wednesday and, contrary to that dumbass camel, it is not Hawmp Day, it is Snow Day. For either the third or fourth week in a row!! The weatherheads insist on talking geek about it but in plain spec it has been around 2-4 inches of sloppy wet while cold crap every time, once a week, on Wednesday. I have called this stuff "Heart Attack" snow for several years now simply because a shovel full of it is enough in terms of weight to give a body a heart attack trying to push or lift the stuff.

As for choice of State, I did like South Dakota once upon a time but recently things involving that verbotten "P" word have gotten silly there. Maybe Wyoming or Montana. Nothing for miles and miles but miles and miles. Not sure how they feel about the right to own and bear arms, (or arm bears as the case may be) South of the Dakotas are Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma, before you inevitably encounter the Texas state line Dunno, maybe Southwestern Nebraska?

I have commented on this before but the epitome of stupid up here was a former politician turning down the opportunity to add two fantastic Caribbean islands to the ranks of the provinces that comprise this miserable excuse for a Dominion. Had that occurred I would have been packed and gone. They wanted education and jobs and opportunities, fair trade sez I 'cause I want warmth and sun and a beach to relax on.

I can get to Montana faster than I can get to Calgary or Edmonton. I would love to get this as soon as things fully open up.

Will you keep your current place as the summer Snowbird palace?

And pay taxes back here? Nope. Let the 400K annual influx of immigrants' children bear that burden. Monetary policy? Nothing to see here.
