GN diff and transmission into 81 Olds

I think what it boils down to is that there is no 200-4r that doesn't bolt up to a SBC. The confusion may be from the fact that they are in BOP cars, like my GN and everyone just assumes they are BOP only. May be just a case of the Mandela Effect. 🤔

Well it certainly would seem more cost effective for GM to make only one trans case that carries bolt patterns for all the engines that they would be used behind
