Some people love to be the opposing force even if they will loose. Its obvious this guy is very stubborn. But no pain no gain and he clearly shows he isnt hurt'n yet...yet. Heh
Does he ever give one of these.--->

Luckily I do not deal with him personally, my buddy sends me copies of the two of them texting back and forth. I personally just find it all amusing that he won't even listen to the manufacturer of the product he wants to modify or guys that have been doing this for years.

UPDATE:
So we found out the reason for failure was he used his newer aftermarket 454 external balancer on his new 540 internally balanced engine. I guess that would shake things up a little, that was the very first question I asked but he swore everything was matched.
So now he just bought his new engine from the same place he bought the 540 and it is a 555 BBC and he also upgraded his heads to AFR CNC 300 oval ports and are port matched to his dual plane intake he currently has.
I think this will work out for him if he does not screw it up somehow.
The only issue I see is he bought a cam dyno simulator and now thinks he is a professional custom cam designer and ordered a cam based on his calculations. Like I said previously he thinks he knows it all but in reality only knows enough to be dangerous.

I was really hoping for a happy ending to this story. But instead, it sounds like part II may have just begun with the custom cam.
Glad to hear nobody was injured (so far) at least.

I can make it a lot easier for this guy! He can just give me a lot of money, and I'll kick him square in the nuts. Saves us both time, he gets hurt and loses a lot of money, I get stress relief.

Actually I would call it part III since he blew the original 454 because he wanted fancy valve covers with no breather set up, the 454 did not like that and spit all its oil out.
