It would draw attention to the forgotten models overshadowed by the later models. Didn't Olds have what would of been the performace models of all the 4th gen A bodies when they came out? (They had the only B body sports model, the 88 Holiday coupes in '77-'78.)

It's supposed to rain around 4 PM today so going to hustle to get my bumpers striped and get the 442 logo on deck lid and on the header again. Going to also try to get the underside of deck lid re shot. Also spraying the inner fenders and fan shroud. I wanted today to be paint day so I have all weekend to assemble. It's licensed and insured and I'm itching for that maiden voyage

The SEM trim black mixed with urethane reducer was awesome. I used my base gun and it flowed nicely even though it's almost 90 degrees already.

I just finished re spraying the under side of the deck lid. I already painted it last summer but I had to fix a rust bubble that ended up being a sheetmetal patch repair. So it had bubbled in that area from the mig heat. Had a few scratches that I still don't know where they came from. They got feathered. Does not look like I'm going to get the gold on the bumpers today. I still need to sand and buff them first. Also they need to be bolted on so I can see where my stripe lines need to be. This means the header needs bolted on. I need to buff the spot on it first. It's only 2:30 so I still got time. My clothes are soaked with sweat but it beats the sh*t out of being 35 degrees. I'll still have updates later this evening :wax:
