Having a few (more) problems

Well if your hearing a vacumn leak and you trans wont shift that would lead me to believe the vacumn line to trans either has a hole or fell off at carb.

That's what I am trying to figure out now.
The piece they told me to check doesn't have a line on it going anywhere.

are you talking about the peice off the modulator? If so that might have been removed with the engine swap.. If so run a peice of vacume hose to the intake just to try it out and if that helps, im sure you can find the steel line to do it right.

are you talking about the peice off the modulator? If so that might have been removed with the engine swap..

Yeah, nothing is there.
No hose no line nothing just sitting in there with a hole that something should be on there but nothing.

No hose no line nothing just sitting in there with a hole that something should be on there but nothing.[/quote]

Run a vacume hose straight from the intake to the modulator. If that is whats going on that should get you on the road until you find the steel line ..

where exactly do I run the line, from what on the intake should I run it from?[/quote]

on mine there is a nipple coming out the rear part straight from the intake that I run off. On my 64 its the same thing. But I think any available port off the intake will do the job.
