6 point cage is not legal for much. If it’s in good condition then convert to an 8 or 10 point. Easier to do without the drivetrain in.

Your goal is attainable - you need all the fuel and all the boost - no such thing as too much of either.

Hello, I’m extremely new to the Gbody world, I’ve recently acquired an 84 elcamino that the previous owner felt the need to gut the headlights basically completely. Can anyone please please help me figure out what all is missing. I have pictures I am trying to upload. I have no clue what all I need to buy to rebuild these lights. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I suggest trying a pick n pull yard for the stuff you need.
