I bought the same set up off ebay. They are called "projectors" and I only paid 30-40$ for them. I just plugged up the origional headlight harness and have not had a problem since. Definately is a helluva lot brighter than halogens and well worth the expenditure. These are not HID conversions, but come with the complete housing and bulbs and are well worth the price and can compare to an HID headlight. Also put a pair in our 1985 dodge d150 prospector, since it uses the exact same headlight as my malibu and they work just as great. I just opted for the blue lense, but make sure you don't get the housing that has the black coating on the inside, go with chrome. If you get the black ones, you won't see a thing.

nothing compares to an HID..

a 35W HID Xenon lamp is 300% more light than a 55W halogen bulb

10X Longer Lasting

HID lighting improves durability by 10 times as road vibrations can cause damage to halogen filament, but there is nothing to break inside the HID bulb

HID Xenon system will also consume much less power from your vehicles electrical system and generate much less heat during operation.

well where i need help is finding the right kit for the front end on my cuttlass not totally sure what year it is. it was on there when i bought the car the guy said he thought it was a 84

you need a conversion lite (I use Hella for my bi-xenon and a clear lens for the hid bright lite ) and an H4 bulb with the kit for that bulb...it's basically plug and play.

I would buy locally since if you do have any issues with the kit or lite you'll have an easier time getting it exchanged...don't buy too cheap cause you get what you pay for.....my headlite system cost a little over $500 but worth every penny
