headlight covers

Looks good - my only suggestion would be to use screws with a black head so they don't stick out like they do now.
 
yea, i need to take them off and respray and clear coat.

He could just use some testors model paint, I use that for detail work and it never comes off
 
lights on a vehicle have a purpose ....they are to help you see and to be seen...why someone would purposely diminish that is beyond me... :?:

I can appreciate using them for show but like you said it not a good idea to leave them on all the time. I noticed in the op's case the signal light is positioned in between the head lites and I doubt that light would be visible during the daytime....

That's what LED's are for 😀



If you leave them on, it would be a good idea to upgrade to the brightest halogen or HID's available. Then it doesn't matter if they're on at night

so you cover up a lite with a black or dark covering and it has no effect?... :shock:

sorry but to me covering up a lite that is meant to help you see or to be seen is like wearing camouflage in the woods during deer hunting season...

Sure it has an effect.

But my old tired sealed beams compared to some HID's with tint over them are the same.
