Hello, I have an issue with the headlights on my 86 Regal. It seems during low beam operation, I get one hi beam and one low beam at normal wattage. When I switch to Hi beam operation, both hi beams are bright at normal wattage and I have one low beam at a really low illumination. At this point I can only drive it with the Hi beams on and I have to disconnect the passenger side low beam or it stays on but really low. I switched over to the capsules instead of the sealed beams, and they haven't been completely right since. I appreciate all input as the monthly safety inspection is coming fast. Please check out the images I left below.

I appreciate that. I checked all grounds and the complete harness. Everything checks out great. The order in which the come on is off. I confused, I'm going to move on to the switch now.

No answer for you, but i will be following this thread... my monte is doing something similar, except my lows work fine, but my highs are ALWAYS on just very dim, but when clicked into high beam, my lows turn off n my high beams get bright... i as well checked and redid all my grounds... i just disconnected my highs for now

My highs stay on in low beam mode barely burning and I installed a separate harness to run them h1 highs h4 lows. Sending my harness back to gmachinez to be modified with a diode to prevent backfeeding. Hope it works

I really do agree. I think Im wasting my time with the switch. GBody Crew. I'm going to throw the sealed beams back in it and see what happens. BPTTONE420012, did you switch to capsules?

I actually did whip out the circuit tester and I appreciate the schematic, although it was in the switch. I swapped it with an old one I found in the tool cabinet and it worked. These conversion kits are not healthy for the switch, being the switch took all the load. I went with a new harness that uses the relays and took the load off of the switch. Replaced that switch with an actual AC Delco (you don't have to use brand name), and I have proper lights. I thank you guys on the forum for taking the time to help. FYI, I went across town to a friends shop that wholesales LED lighting and fabricates lights. I will be designing some up-to-date lighting for these G-Bodies all the way around the car. I am actually a little disappointed in the quality of the lighting I have been buying and seeing. Taillights, markers, parking, 3rd., and headlight assemblies. If you have done a headlight conversion, use the aftermarket harness, it is worth it. Thanks again!!!

Weird but it worked!
