I have a 1982 monte carlo and my headlights are not working but my tail lights are working ,have anybody else have this problem before?
Yes power is going to the switch . I just bought new head lights like three months ago . I think it's because my hi beam and low beam was broken my car was stuck on hi beam all the time . Do y'all think it might of burn it out ?with a curcuit tester did you check at the switch to see if power is going to the headlights
the headlights don't work at the switch anymoreI knew the power is going to the switch since the parking lights work, that is why I asked in power was going to the headlights at the headlight switch
I replace this but still no luckthen the switch is defective, it shouldn't be a hard part to find and is relatively easy to replace.
if the tail lights work with the switch do u think its still good ?if you have power going into the switch but none coming out then it has to be the switch. You can test the switch with a multimeter to see if it's good
