thats a sick setup, wat do you think your quarter mile time is? lol btw verry nice regal 8)

i haven't taken it down the 1/4th yet. the guy i got it from ran 12.9 on 18" wheels. when i put the slicks on it the old limited slip couldn't handle it and was giving me the whole 'one tire fire' problem. still managed a 8.5 in the 1/8th. a locker and new gears will be going in early next year.

I run a 255/60-15 MIckey Thompson S/T on the rear of mine because I scored the Regal with Weld draglites with wrong back spacing on the rear 4"........I took spacers off my S-10 to make the rears not rub the frame after spacing I could get a a small finger between tire and the frame.....but there are guys around here running 275 on MCSS, Cuttys and GPs but I havent ran into a Regal yet.............

check that backspacing when you get a chance for me. also get me some pics of the 255 under the rear if you could.

a little more info on that is that the stock intake from the car platform ls is shorter than that of a truck giving a little more hood clearance. also the truck platform is a better suited platform due to the cars oil pan will more than likely hit the engine cross member as the truck is more like oldschool oil pan. going to be swapping in a 6.o and 4l80e tans to my bu next spring.
The truck block is also iron vs the car's aluminum block (IIRC). I have the LQ4 6.0Lin my 00 SIerra 2500, with the 4L80E.....it hauls my heavy a$$ truck around pretty good, and I would love to feel the setup in a gbody. MPG would be a lot better in the lighter gbody, too, as was already said........I get about 10mpg city in my truck.....

Sorry I dont any close ups right now but will post you some later but here are some recent shots to give you general idea.....

thats not bad for a truck motor lol good luck with the track time, i was looking to get a ls327crate engine with a little over 330 hp for 3,000. i thought u might have that engine bec the description on it says its styled like the 5.3L out of an 02 chevy

my motor IS a 5.3 from an 02 chevy. cam headers intake and tune.

google: 'edelbrock pro flo xt LS manifold' and you'll see what im thinking about doing, it looks like i may have a better chance fitting this under the stock hood. i know that i can't fit the victor jr. without a cowl.
