442 (HELP) Window Sweep Installation Problem

Hey every one! I’m using this “Tapatalk” app and was sure that I turned my notifications on, but nope[emoji19]
So I used something similar to the awesome tool you made. All I did was shave down the Phillips bit the attached it to a small vice grip. That worked.
But now I can’t attach the new sweeps because the holes didn’t line up so I have to self tap them in.
[emoji1432]the bottom of my window is resting on the base of the door.
[emoji1432]how much window is still in the way.
I’m guessing , I’m just gonna have to take the window out completely to get this done right. Because what’s the point in installing these new sweeps if only MORE rain will fall through[emoji30]

Oh, another thing I forgot to mention, I did loosen up the two top window felts to give me more room initially.
