Hey everyone!

My name is Cameron, and I just purchased a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 with T-Tops...bought it for $1800 in Southern Indiana a few weeks ago!! I had been looking for one for quite some time...found a good price within a few hours drive, and couldn't pass it up!

Here's some pics of it:

....and amazingly, the original WINDOW STICKER! 😀

Looking to meet some new people, and gain more knowledge on how to add more power under the hood (has a 350 Rocket from a '76 Supreme under the hood, but also had the original 307 4-bbl)

wow nice find! welcome to the site

Great score. Holy crap 18mpg city 25hwy. You would not likley ever see that even with the 307. In addition to what you may learn here about hot rodding the Olds 350 you should check out www.oldspower.com and www.realoldspower.com.

Edit: Here is another good link for ya www.robertpowersmotorsports.com Its an older site as you can now buy headers for a 455 Olds powered gbody but lots of good info & upgrade pics. BTW I got about 17mpg with my 307 & 3.73s. I get 17hwy now with my 509ci only its a good 3 seconds quicker in the 1/4 mile.

Welcome!
Car looks pretty good for that price.
What are your plans for it?
That's the best color too, if you ask me... 😀

When mine still had the original 307, it would average 17 if I could keep my foot out of it...

Well, I'm still undecided on the route I want to take...

It may seem blasphemous to some, but...I wanted to add a set of 3-piece 22" rims. Something classy, like some Asanti's or Forgiato's...maybe a 22x9 in the front, and a 22x11 in the rear. I'm going to have the bodywork completed...there's only a handful of rust; none straight thru, though (Thank God). Debating if I want to have the car resprayed the original color scheme, or try something different with the same outline.

I don't know...I'm stuck at a crossroads. I want to keep it classy, so it can retain the "resale value", but I also want to add my own touches to it as well. Decisions, decisions...

 pleaaase no 22's, its unhealthy. i will aprove 20's. no larger. and you better lower it.lol or else I will ignore every post you ever post again! lol 😛

It'll be lowered AND on 22's...

Trust me, there's a lot of them that look good on 22's, esp.with lower profiles tires. It'd be the stock height...no lifting or cutting needed. Don't let the size scare you. Trust me, it'll be done tastefully.

This is one of the rims I'm looking at...

Forgiato Andata
