Name is Jason or Bones. I'm from Lima, Ohio and i own a 81 Cutlass 231 car and also an 86 Cutlass Salon. The 81 is now in project phase and the 86 is my daily driver. Really looking for good info on repairs and upgrades. I am a 21 year vet of the car audio scene, and i do stereo builds. Here's a few pics of my 86

it'll be done over the course of the next year or so.....but it'll be a fairly loud system. 2 12" Resonant Engineering ***'s with a 4000 watts rms amp to power them, something like a Autotek MM4000.1. Inside will be probably all Alpine. Type X componants, and a pair of quality 3.5"s in the dash, coupled with an Alpine PDX 1.150 amp and an Alpine headunit. Will upgrade the alternator to a 250 or 300 amp unit and probably 3 Optima yellowtops

not terribly expensive...about $3200 total. I've seen guys spend $10k plus. Other than the stereo upgrades, i plan on keeping it pretty much stock except for a custom center console....the one thats in there was abused over the years and i need an armrest thats about 4 inches high than stock. I'll post pics as i do work to give other ideas.
