ive got a Holley dual feed single pumper on my el camino. the motor is a 350 with a performer intake headers roller rockers and a small cam.. Yesterday i had it running great i had to adjust the floats to do so. today i start it and its running rich again and flooding cylinders out. It wont stay adjused for a day it seems?? any suggestions???

Check out your needle and seats. A little spec of dirt will reek havoc and cause it dump fuel. Look down the throat of the carb while it's running. Use a flashlight and a mirror.
Been there before.

your floats are bad they are filling up with fuel, buy new ones at any parts store

im goin to get some new floats tomorrow should i get brass or the nitrophyl. i belive it has brass floats now. another problem i have is off idle if i mash it, it has a bad flat spot in it. (this is a vac secondaries carb) what can be done to get rid of the flat spot?? it basically falls on its face then comes to life.
