Re: How long for lowering springs to settle?

I tried looking up the specs on Beltech springs but like Eibach you can't find the specs about them online. If you can find the specs as far as the number of coils, height the spring and diameter of the metal bar then you can check to see if your springs match the Beltech spring. Did you notice any part numbers on the springs? If you can't get it worked out with those spring a Moog 5660 with one coil cut off will drop the car 2"

might be a dumb question but you do have the springs installed right side up, sitting in the channel in the lower and not sitting on any of the fingers up on top?

Honestly to tell you the truth I don't know I'll check out the springs when I goto my parents house after church tomorrow.

Re: How long for lowering springs to settle?

Although this is a different scenario, I put a big block in my Malibu. I was really surprised that it was still at the same as the small block. Well, like yours, it was winter ,so it was just sitting. Well when spring came around and I started driving it, it dropped. Then I would drive it again and it dropped a little more. I was almost afraid to drive it but they finally settled and am happy how it sits. So maybe you just need to drive it and see what happens.. Good luck! Timo22

Re: How long for lowering springs to settle?

OK thank you Tim...I have more work to do before I start driving it on the roads
