..do you guys have on your car? all types of Gbody owners I want to hear (or read i guess) how many mile syouve put on your factory motor, my 1984 3.8L V6 N/A currently has almost exactly 190,000 miles on it.

Any of you guys with higher miles on the same car as mine of similar? Monte Carlos, Cutlass and other I wanna hear from you guys too!

I'm glad (but in a way severely disheartened) to hear that the 229 ci V6 will go that long. I currently have just under 112,000 miles on my 82 Conquista with the same engine, and a THM250 trans; all bone stock. I am waiting for the day that engine dies to put in a crate 350 and beef up the rest of the powertrain. You're making it sound as if that won't be for a while. Damn.

around 185000 on my 81. 85000 on my dads 85. the 81 has a 305 from '77 came out of a taxicab. it has never been rebuilt does not burn oil.

I bought my cutlass salon last year with 76,262 on it,put like 937 miles on the rebuilt 307,then ripped it out for my 355 and put like 2 miles on that engine currently until the exhaust gets done. Right now it has 77,200 miles and I plan on putting as many miles as possible this summer before it gets parked in october.

i bough my elky with 89k and it has the same milage because the speedo isnt connected

I just went past 100,000 on the 83' Bonnewagon, but the motor only has 10,000 on it. My 81' Malibu had over 300,000 when I junked it but it had 5 motors in the 17 years I had it and it was 12 years old when I got it..
