I've always kinda wanted to do drag week but after one day spectating now I really want to go.

Drag weekend is fun and 3 days but seeing 300+ cars and all the classes is damn cool. Power Tour was fun but Drag Week is where it's at!

Next time it gets close to home and I manage to slap together a car that has a cage I'm going!

I assume it's going mid Atlantic or mid south next year so I've got 2-3 years before it gets close again. I gotta get working on finding an Omega!

The last MN guy that had a shot of winning torched a head gasket and dropped out sadly.

As long as it’s east of the Mississippi, I’m in. I’m hooked. Always more to prepare for and more needed to go faster.

You don’t need a cage imo. I’ve discussed my certification issues, my tune issues, and a bunch of general issues. But having the MC run 1150 miles with 1000+Lbs of trailer in tow made me happy. I will proudly display my ‘I survived Drag Week 2021’ sticker on the car.

And I’ll be more prepared next year. You and Mike need to just get it done and show up. No one cares how fast you go, just have a good time. The two that I’ve been to include memories that I’ll never forget.

I have a Chitlins story that is 2nd to none from 2019.

To describe how it goes, in 2019 this car could not get off the line - and I’m sure the owner was a little red faced over it. This year - holy shhhhcow, he put on a show every hit that I saw. Wheel stand, twisted about 20 degrees and raucous fun to watch.

Just show up and have a great time. The competition part of it is secondary to the everything else.
