Thanks - me too lol.

I did discover that I’m cutting too much out in the hit.

Mmmmhhhmmmmm.

11 hrs of driving today to watch 5 hours of racing. Still totally worth it.

Woke up and 3:15 am and had breakfast in the stands watching cars make passes.

I dig drag and drive events but even if you are a casual observer it's worth the trip to spectate if you are within a semi reasonable drive.

Attrition has been pretty bad. Local guy/buddy of mine (Randy) with the silver 1st gen Pontiac powered firebird was leading street race big block PA the first 2 days until the cam snapped on the drive to Indy.

Met up with Jim and a few other people I know. I'll process a few photos in the coming days and post them up.

Love the 55 post lifting the front tires!

I felt honored and humbled to meet Vanrah today and have a great conversation. I was so glad he made it! I'll let you guess which one he is in the photo.

81cutlass/Jake stopped in as well and it was fabulous to meet him and talk. Did my darndest to convince him put a Holley in the 2+2.

It's a bummer that we are so far apart, but it's great that this platform allows us to 'talk' regularly. FWIW, I wouldn't have guessed at either vanrah or Jake until both of them asked me if I was Jim/64nailhead - I thought of that during the drive today and I was smiling and chuckling. I hope to meet with and speak in person to as many of you as possible in the future.

Thanks to all!!

Greetings Jim & all; One FUN day, Perfect weather & new friends. The smell of burnt rubber & grilled burgers. That sure is a fine picture of two Car Nuts.
Note: I was stealin' youth Karma it was flowing all over the pits! Ya can't see it, taste it or smell it but it's their! I'm younger now! Keep racin, Ole' Bob.

I didn't blatantly say no to the Holley suggestion
😉

My face stayed off the internet. I can maintain my ability to sneak around now 😜

I forgot to add, my body is sore from 1150
Miles on an original factory G- seat. I’m looking forward to a 20 minute drive to the track and 20 minutes back to my bed.
