Hurricane Sandy

NJ's woes aren't over yet, a early freak nor easter is going to dump 3 in of snow this Wed. Usually doesn't snow in NJ until after New Year's. Last 4 years we have been getting freak early snow, guess it is climate change?

climate has changed since day one, ice ages appeared and melted before GM showed up. I read the storm isn't going to be as bad as they have been predicting. I hope that they are right.

I know there's always be natural climate change, but we have been getting snow much earlier than we used to in recent years. It's coming down pretty hard but it's not sticking to well yet at least. Supposed to warm back up into the 60s this weekend but it will probably be a muddy mess because of the melting snow, won't be able to enjoy it much. Plus they are salting the roads so it's another premature end to the classic car season.

I saw this picture taken November 14 in Queens and I have read there is still about 130,000 in New York and New Jersey remain without electricity. It sounds like FEMA and the insurance companies are playing their games again. I don't how people put with it.

That picture about says it all. My hometown of Manasquan was leveled. The beachfront and boardwalk are gone. I've seen so many pictures like that one. Several of my co workers lost their homes. Then came the Nor Easter... Supposedly we are getting another one next week. I wonder what we've done to anger mother nature? Perhaps it was the Jersey Shore TV show..
