i am a new guy with 1981 monte carlo cl i have a new motor for it and i will have pics on here soon and i just love g bodies i believe that they are great cars to build into supercars i have owned mines for 9 years and its my first car from which i was 17 i had have 8 motors and 6 transmission combos.... the QUESTION i have for the PRO'S is for the motor the has ....i have a 1971 chevelle 350 with ported heads and shaved and the engine deck has been shaved 750 edelbrock carb performer rpm intake and flow tech long headers flat top pistons and lets just sayit has stock crank and cam and vacum advance timing and manderal bent exhaust on 40 series mufflers how much horses i might have just good guest....i for got 270hp stock 330tourqe great source...thanks for any replies

I would say 300-325 at best...........If your looking for good horsepower you will need to do something with the heads, intake and cam............can't wait to see the pics :wink:
