I finally got a 4 speed malibu

Because of the 8-track with the stock shifter 3rd gear and tape was hard on the knuckles so I went to a Hurst with a Morpar bench seat handle.😎

Gnvair; My old friend Dwight would be so happy that you choose to re post his car, he liked it high! He's been gone now for a couple of years. The black one pictured is in Milton Wisc last I knew. I'll post a few more, he owned two 4 speed Malibu's. The black one & maroon both with red interior. And both had Hurst shifters (from memory?). Cwc my gauge dash also came with a clock (tan interior), but the dealership made a mistake when ordering? Or GM changed it because it's a 9C1 as it took over 5 months to get it (Bronze Brick). I took the clock out, cut a coffee can lid, painted it black & installed a electric fuel pressure gauge in it's place. Cwc you have a fine automobile their, take care of it. And period wheels with stock appearance would be the way to go. What do ya think of my old 10 spoke Westerns from 1980? Ole' Bob.
