Thansk again for all the compliments,as far as any changes i may put dual exhaust on it and loose the catalytic converter,i would love to hear a sound clip of Drivens olds.I would also like a factory tachometer and ditch those goofy red heater hoses ofcourse

This is where it comes through on my 79 malibu . Man that is one sweet malibu you found ! That thing looks great as is ! great find . That is probably one of the best untouched examples i have seen.

BTW the wire on mine was brown
The wire from the dist is brown, the wire in the dash harness is white, they are joined by a Packard connector under the dash
