I hate New England

Baseball is tough for me. Of hockey, football and baseball, it's my least favorite. Growing up watching the Pirates probably has a lot to do with that. Still, I like to follow something and in the summer baseball is the only thing going on. I usually root for whoever is playing against the Pirates, so I find myself rooting for the Cubs frequently. So I guess if I had to pick one team it would probably be the Cubs.

The Pirates have lost Mercer, Harrison, Nova, Hechavarria, Freese in the last season up to now. Their bullpen would be considered bad by high school pitching standards. Nutting is the problem and everyone knows it.

I find myself cheering for the Lions and the Browns a little bit.

I'm waiting for the Lions vs Browns in an upcoming SuperBowl...maybe in my lifetime...I hope. Probably would be the most watched SB on the planet if that ever happened.

I agree with you there. Matt Cassel played great as Brady's back up when he went down with the blown knee back when. Not all, but I'm sure a bunch of QBs could have done just, or almost, as well with BB as their mentor. Brady is the lucky one, no doubt about it, but he still had to get it done on the field. And he did it some seasons with a bunch of no name receivers that were practically pulled off the street. We lost the Super Bowl with Randy Moss, go figure....

Ironically Tom Brady had his knee blown out against the Chiefs....

Those were the golden days of DVE. Randy Baumann just isn't funny without Jim Krenn. When they get these awful comedians on and plug their shows for them and tell awful jokes and stories for an hour I about lose it. I still listen on Tuesday mornings when Billy Gardell is on, but otherwise the radio is usually off.

IMO the NFL does not care if there is bad or good publicity, all they want is for people to be talking about the NFL cause they know how to turn that into $$$$$$$$$$$

I didn't read the entire thread, but this ^^^is my attitude towards a league that condones disrespect to our flag and nation. I've been a life long Giants fan until last year. It's truly shameful.

Now I go to events where if you don't stand and take off your hat during the national anthem people in the crowd throw, literally throw, you off the premises.
