Welcome. The problem is, we get a lot of first posters trying to sell something. Usually those members leave to never be seen again once they get put in check. If you decide to keep the car and become an active member, we are truly a great group of people who share a common interest. Good luck with your sale.

WTF is a “ mixture controlled Q-jet rebuild “?

Do you need a special metric adjustable to do it?

While it may be in great shape, the market will dictate its worthiness. Whether we or you like it or not.

The choice is obviously yours. As said before, you can keep it for a future project or other use. Or restore it to pristine condition and drive it around. Or sell it.

The only thing special about the car is that it was your grandmother's car. Emotional value has its virtues. If you want your kids to have it, you'll need to store the car some more for down the road, perhaps.

No matter the mileage, every G-body headliner will need replacing at some point. The foam dries out on them and crumbles away. If it's not falling down....wait a little longer. It will. It's one of those "just the way it is" things.

Stick around. Fix that car up and get it to "Grandmother Approves" status. Then enjoy it. Someone should.
